Classic Range – 122km
All the best elements of a gravel experience – stunning scenery, serious challenges, adventure, 4 ecosystems, 2 creek crossings, varied surfaces, and an incredible ride through one of the most beautiful areas in the world.
This route includes open grasslands, dense forest of the Porcupine hills, sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains, 2-track ranch roads, and the incredible Skyline Road (one of the best-kept secrets in Alberta). The Classic Range Map:
Where the air is so pure, and the zephyrs so free,
The breezes so balmy and light,
That I would not exchange my home on the range,
For all of the cities so bright.
- Dr. Brewster Higley, Home on the Range lyrics
